RAD AIR RACING INKS ASHEVILLE NATIVE CAMP TEAGUE TO MULTI-RACE DEAL FOR 2024 SEASON
AVON, OH – The Rad Air Racing Team, led by Captain Bill Snow, are coming off a career best 2023 season in ChampCar Endurance Series competition. In five events, the team scored five Top-5 finishes including five podium finishes in their respective class (2nd & 3rd - Five Times).
Snow and the Rad Air Racing Team are proud to announce the addition of Ashville, North Carolina native Camp Teague to the driver roster for 2024. Teague competed in two events last year scoring a career best second place finish in his ChampCar Series debut during the Lifeline 24-Hour Classic Event at VIRginia International Raceway last August.
“I’m incredibly excited to be part of the Rad Air Racing Team for the 2024 ChampCar Endurance Series season. The opportunity to work with Bill and the team is such an honor. I show up every weekend to have fun and be competitive, there isn’t a better team to do this with than Rad Air Racing,” said Teague.

The RAR team is planning to field two entries (Car #23 & Car #975) for the majority of 2024. The team’s 10-Race ChampCar Schedule will include five different racetracks. Teague begins his multi-race tenure with the team during RAR’s season debut at the National Corvette Museum (NCM) 8+7 Doubleheader Weekend in March. In addition to the NCM event, Teague will also compete with the team at both Mid-Ohio & VIR North race weekends. Partnership opportunities are available with Rad Air Racing & Teague for the scheduled events.

ARCA MENARDS SERIES IRONMAN BRAD SMITH HAS CONCRETE ON HIS MIND
DOVER, DE: The ARCA Menards Series cast of characters has the week off as most teams prepare for the long trek out to Kansas, but the ARCA Menards Series East competitors are headed across Maryland’s Bay Bridge to battle it out at the Monster Mile.
Brad Smith Motorsports is coming off their season-best finish last weekend at Talladega Superspeedway of 19th and is looking to capitalize on the momentum. The typical red #48 will look a little different this weekend as the team is debuting their new Ford Fusion that has been updated with some newer technology and should serve the team well in competition.
“Dover is such a fun track, yet one of the most unique that we have on the ARCA schedule because of the characteristics. The speed you carry through the 24-degree high banks corners is incredible for just a one-mile oval and has such proud traditions. If the weather can cooperate this weekend, I believe we will surprise a lot of people, even ourselves!”

The General Tire 125 (125 laps | 125 miles) is the second of 8 races on the 2023 ARCA Menards Series East schedule. Practice begins Fri., Apr. 28 with an hour-long session from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Qualifying will be a timed group session at 2:10 p.m. followed by a pre-race autograph session in the Fan Zone on the Midway directly following the on-track action. The ARCA Menards Series teams will take the green flag at 5:30 p.m. with coverage streaming LIVE on FloRacing.com & ARCARacing.com carrying live timing and scoring . The General Tire 125 will be TAPE DELAYED and shown on CNBC Sunday, May 7th at 11:00 a.m.

BRAD SMITH MOTORSPORTS CELEBRATING 20 YEARS SINCE UPSET VICTORY AT TALLADEGA
TALLADEGA, AL: Superspeedway racing in the ARCA Menards Series has been a proving ground for up-and-coming drivers to gain the necessary approvals as they work their way up the NASCAR ladder, yet has been notorious for drivers to score unexpected victories.
Driver Brad Smith and his then #26 team rolled into Talladega in October of 2003 knowing that this was an opportunity race for the team to run up front because of Brad’s Restrictor Plate experience. While the team qualified a disappointing 38thfor the 300-mile event, the team knew that Brad would use the draft to work through the 41-car field and avoid the “Big One”.
The former Andy Petree Racing (APR) team had initially entered then rookie driver Paul Menard in the #33 Chevrolet, but an issue in qualifying prevented Menard and the APR team from making the race on time. Petree was attempting to get Menard experience on a Superspeedway to gain the approval for Paul to compete in the then NASCAR Busch Series season opening event at Daytona as the team announced they would contest the entire 2004 campaign.
Smith, a veteran driver who understands the importance of entertaining potential partnerships with good performances, was gracious enough to come to an agreement with Owner Andy Petree and allowed the APR team to use the #26 for Paul to run the event. After having to fall to the rear of the field due to the driver change, Menard and the APR team worked there way through field during the chaotic event to score the victory.
Twenty years later, the now re-numbered #48 BSM team is determined to roll into Talladega this weekend and put on a show for the Alabama faithful NASCAR diehard fans.
“The 2023 season has started out rough for our team, but we will keep digging and are optimistic that Talladega will be the turning point. It is hard to believe that our team’s lone victory came 20 years ago. Even though I have been air-lifted out of Dega twice, this is still one of my favorite racetracks and I always look forward to coming back. We are looking forward to rewarding our Alabama racing family and our enthusiastic BSM fans with a Top-15 finish.”

EMPIRE RACING GROUP AND DRIVER SEAN CORR RETURN TO TALLADEGA WITH MOMENTUM ON THEIR SIDE
TALLADEGA, AL: The ARCA Menards Series teams have returned from the West Coast swing with an uneven tan and a renewed determination as the tour shifts focus to the largest track on the schedule. The 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway will once again host the 35 ARCA teams entered for Saturday’s 200-mile event.
The Empire Racing Group returns to the track for the first time since their 3rd place finish at Daytona in February and are carrying that momentum into a facility that has been favorable to the ERG team over the past four seasons, including a 9thplace finish in 2020.
“We are extremely excited about heading down to Talladega this week! This is the car we repaired after the qualifying accident at Daytona and scored a 3rdplace finish after having to start 38th. I love the Superspeedways and we have had success here when we not getting caught up in the “Big One” that always seems to occur. Due to the grid being set on last year’s owners point standings, we will start in the mid-20s, but our optimistic that we can charge towards the front of the field.”

SALTY CRACKERS RACING TEAM ADDS HOLLYWOOD STUNTMAN CHRISTOPHER ARTHUR TO DAYTONA LINEUP
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Motorsports is a family-based sport and when one member of that family needs help, the rest of the family pitches in, no questions asked. Salty Crackers Racing, owned by Eddie Dukes, is preparing to tackle the hallowed grounds of the Daytona International Speedway for ChampCar’s annual visit to the “World Center of Racing”, but 11th Hour circumstance has opened the door for an experienced road course ringer to lend a hand.
New Jersey native Christopher Arthur will anchor the six-man driver lineup for Duke’s #89 Nissan Altima entry in the B Class Division. Arthur will drive alongside owner Eddie Dukes, Jared Dukes, Mike Sullivan, and the father-son duo of Carl & Michael Peters.
Arthur, a Hollywood Stuntman by trade, has many years of experience in Motorsports through his participation in Bob Bondurant’s Formula Program, as well as Porsche Club & Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) events. Christopher just recently participated in the ARCA Menards Series annual Pre-Season Practice at Daytona this past January, so his knowledge of Daytona will be beneficial to assist his co-drivers as they battle against a record starting field of 135 entries.
“I am beyond excited to join the Salty Crackers team this weekend at the world-famous Daytona International Speedway. This will be a historic event for ChampCar and with some solid strategy by our team, we feel that a podium finish is within our grasp,” said Arthur.
The #89 entry will carry a unique paint scheme during the 14-Hour event as they race to honor the memort of Eddie’s oldest son, Kyle Dukes.
